Chesapeake Sailmakers is a regional sail loft based in Annapolis. Established in 2003, we feature a truly personalized approach to the craft of sail building. We are a small, boutique sailmaker that prides ourselves on personal service. We have created a niche market with the Club Racing, Coastal Cruising, Offshore and Blue Water sailing communities by providing highly customized products designed specifically to your needs. We support many regattas, events, sailing clubs and cruising rallies by offering educational seminars, individual on board consulting and sail repair services. Our goal is not to be the biggest sailmaker, just the best in value and quality.
Well versed in all aspects of computer aided design, modern methods of sail construction and an exceptional understanding of material applications, we have produced durable blue water sails, as well as competition-proven racing sails.
Our service and repair department is extremely attentive to clients needs and budgets, maintaining open lines of communication in the sail maintenance process and helping clients add years of life to their sails through routine and preventive care.
